At Clarendon Hills we want to make your online shopping experience easy and hassle-free. So on this page you’ll find a summary of the Terms & Conditions for our online store. By placing an order through our website, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice, make sure to check back regularly to read the latest version.

Online Store Content

It is our aim to keep the website as up to date as possible, it is possible that the information on the site may run behind slightly, so we can’t guarantee the content. Any images, specifications or information particulars published on the web site in connection with wines are provided for identification only and are subject to change without notice.

Deliveries and Unattended Deliveries

If you pay by credit card you may request that your delivery is left on the doorstep. However, if you pay by Paypal we cannot deliver to an unattended address and require someone to be present who is over 18 years of age and can provide proof of age.

We do our best to deliver to most parts of Australia, to check whether we deliver to your location please check the delivery pricing and post code list. Clarendon Hills uses the Australia Post delivery network. Australia Post provide a free online package tracking service so you will be kept up to date with the progress of your order. Australia post will deliver to your door, or leave a card for collection at your local post office.

Australia Post reserves the right to leave a card even if you request an unattended delivery if:

  • There is someone home but they cannot provide proof of age
  • The delivery driver is concerned that minors are present in the vicinity of your premises
  • There is no clear instruction to leave the delivery in a safe place
  • Please note if you pay by Paypal we cannot deliver to an unattended address and require someone to be present who is over 18 years of age and can provide proof of age
Timing

We know that you will be eagerly awaiting the arrival of your Clarendon Hills wine, and we will endeavour to get them to you as quickly as possible. Orders usually arrive 10-14 days after purchase. If you would like to arrange express delivery, please contact Clarendon Hills directly.

Product availability

All products are ‘while stocks last’. If a product ordered is out of stock, we will offer you an alternative, or issue a full refund.

Pricing & Promotions

The product, prices and promotions offered on our online store only apply to Australia and are subject to change. The prices are all shown in Australian dollars inclusive of GST. Prices will either be per bottle or per case as stated. Delivery charges are shown separately and are not included in the displayed product pricing.

Payment

We accept Visa or MasterCard. If the credit card issuer does not authorise the transaction or later revokes authorisation for the transaction, Clarendon Hills may cancel the order. All payments are processed by SecurePay, a third party payment gateway. By using the store you warrant that any credit card details provided by you are true and correct and that you are authorised to charge the relevant payment to that credit card. You must indemnify Clarendon Hills from and against any loss or damage, it suffers in connection with a breach of this warranty.

Breakages & Refunds

After all the hard work we put into our wine we want you to enjoy our product as much as we enjoyed making it. Unfortunately, items can be damaged during transit, in which case we ask you to contact our cellar door manager to discuss a replacement. Just make sure you notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order. We are proud of our award-winning wines so if you are not satisfied with your purchase please let us know.

Order Cancellation

If you wish to cancel or change your order please call us on (08) 8 36 36 111 (from 9am -5 pm, Mon-Fri) within 24 hours of placing your order; exchanges and refunds are provided at Clarendon Hills’ discretion. If we have already delivered the wine to you, you’ll need to make sure the bottles are unopened and kept in good condition.

Security, Your Personal information & Privacy

The privacy and security of your information is important to us. All credit card information is encrypted during transmission, using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology in our checkout process. You will always be able to identify a secure website when you can see a small padlock icon that appears either at the bottom of your browser or in the address bar at the top of the screen. No credit card information is stored on this site, all payment processing is provided by the SecurePay Gateway which is fully PCI DSS compliant. Liquor Licensing & Responsible Service of Alcohol

At Clarendon Hills, we recommend that wine lovers enjoy our wines responsibly. Remember wine is best when enjoyed in moderation. It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. If we have reason to believe that a person ordering wine is not 18 years of age or older, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel the order.

If you purchase products from Clarendon Hills, you warrant to us that:

  • you are over the age of 18 years; and
  • any person that you are obtaining the products for, or supply the products to, is over the age of 18 years

Clarendon Hills operates under the SA producers licence.

Creating an Account for the Clarendon Hills Online Store

The Clarendon Hills online store offers a registration facility for users who wish to create an account on the site. This provides our registered customers with faster checkout.
