Farm to Table Pinot Noir

Vibrant cherry red.

Wild strawberries, cherry and hints of spicy oak.

Medium bodied with bright flavours of red fruits and a soft, supple texture with silky tannins.

The fruit for this wine was harvested from our family vineyard, Upton Run high in the Strathbogie Ranges over several days in late February to early March. It was fermented in sweep-arm fermenters to maximise colour and promote primary fruit flavours. We used two yeast strains for this wine - Clos and D245. The Clos strain was isolated in the Burgundy region of France and contributes complexity specifically suited to pinot noir. The D245 strain assists in promoting fruit concentration and developing the wine's mid-palate. It was then matured for 6 months using new French oak.
