2018 was an excellent vintage. A mild to warm season. Moderate rainfall at the right times made for ideal growing conditions. With balanced canopies and fruit loads, the warm ripening season allowed for balanced development of sugar, flavour and tannin.
The fruit was kept on skins for 8 days of fermentation to achieve a balance of primary fruit and savoury tannin complexity. The wine was then matured (100%) in barrel in some of the finest French oak.
