This Shiraz is dark purple in colour and is a rich and youthful wine. Aromas of rhubarb, raspberry and juicy ripe plums are followed by a rich and peppery palate.

Wine Making

The fruit for this wine was sourced from our family vineyards in the Strathbogie Ranges and from Central Victoria. The grapes were harvested throughout March.

We fermented this wine at 24˚C in high tech sweep-arm fermenters to maximise colour and flavour. We used a yeast called, RP 15 as it adds palate richness in varietals such as Shiraz.

This wine was matured for nine months using new French and American oak.
