Farm to Table
As dedicated grape and sheep farmers we have deep respect for provenance, husbandry and craftmanship in food and wine. Straight from the farm, these wines embody our connection to the land and our enjoyment of it through quality food and wine. Farm to Table wines are bright, generous and carefully blended to complement the softer texture of farm raised meat.
This Sangiovese is garnet red in colour with medium density. On the nose there are some earthy notes with rhubarb, bracken and subtle integrated oak. This wine is soft and medium bodied, with light tannins and a balance of acidity. An easy drinking wine with good length.
Fermented in stainless steel to preserve the vibrancy of primary fruit flavours, before maturing for 9 months in a combination of French (70%) and American (30%) oak.
