Ladies who Shoot their Lunch Gun Case
Ladies who Shoot their Lunch are the world's first wines blended to match wild game.
Fowles Wine advocates responsible hunting as an alternative way to source and enjoy meat. This involves shooting game such as hares and rabbits (which are pests responsible for significant land degradation in Australia) and enjoying them as delicious food alongside our wines.
We wanted to present our Ladies who Shoot their Lunch wines in way that mirrors this philosophy – innovative, finely crafted and a touch wild. So we created this stunning ‘gun case’ wine presentation box styled on an antique English gun case.
This ‘gun case’ wine presentation box is modeled on an antique English gun case made in 1897 by world famous London gun maker James Purdey and Sons. The art work for this box is based on photographs taken from the original gun case owned by the Fowles family.
Designed by Lu Fowles, this replica ‘gun case’ wine presentation box includes two bottles of Ladies who Shoot their Lunch Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz fine wines.
The ‘gun case’ wine presentation box is made from high quality laminated cardboard with a carrying capacity of up to 9kg. Complete with an insert that can be set up for display or reversed for the purposes of carrying, this ‘gun case’ is durable and reusable.
