Victor Nash began his career as an aeronautical engineer with the Benetton Formula One team before realizing it was winemaking not fast cars that made his pulse race.
With a Bachelor of Applied Science (Wine Science) from Charles Sturt University, Victor began his career in winemaking in 1999 at Katnook Estate in Coonawarra before going on to spend time at Briar Ridge in the Hunter Valley.
With a passion for the great French varietals of Burgundy, Bordeaux and the Rhone, Victor was lured to Strathbogie Ranges in 2002 by distinctive and exciting qualities of our fruit and has been crafting Fowles Wine ever since. A finalist in the Young Australian Winemaker of Year competition in 2005, Victor is the Director of the Victorian Wines Show and the talent behind our award winning wines.
Victor lives in Avenel with his wife Jo and their ever growing family!
