Pale straw with a hint of green.
A lively bouquet of lime, citrus and honeydew.
Full bodied yet fresh, an elegant combination of varietal citrus, pear and delicate stone fruit flavours.
The name Arneis means “little rascal”, but sometimes even little rascals behave! 2021 was the best Arneis crop we have ever seen, with uncharacteristically uniform bunches and an even, balanced canopy which meant flavours developed well, along with sugar levels and natural acid.
The Arneis fruit was gently crushed and fermented in stainless steel, to promote primary fruit flavours and aromas. A carefully selected cultured yeast was used to encourage aromatic citrus notes. The wine was matured in old French oak for a short period of time to add weight and complexity.
