Winemaking

The grapes were picked from block 13.5 of our Upton Run vineyard early morning on 22 March 2022. Picking, pressing and fermentation all occurred on the same day, with minimal handling to encourage primary fruit characters. The wine was fermented using a select cultured yeast which enhances aromatics and elegant structure, while the stainless steel tanks ensured a clean, fresh Riesling.

Colour

Pale straw with green hues.

Nose

Intense aromas of zesty lemon and lime with hints of lemongrass, citrus blossom and musk.

Palate

Crisp, clean and dry, with varietal flavours of fresh lemon and lime and a hint of sherbet enhanced by lovely minerality, a fine chalky texture and great length.
