Shipping Policy

Fowles Wine hold a Wine and Beer Producer’s Licence (licence number: 32606551).

Wine sales are only open to Australian residents who are over 18 years old. Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 it is an offence to:

  • Supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years.
  • For a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor.

Both offences carry heavy penalties (up to $7000).

In purchasing wine online from Fowles Wine you agree that you are an Australian resident of legal drinking age. We will require you to confirm this information at point purchase when prompted.

Age Verification

The delivery receiver has to be aged 18 years or over, and may be asked to provide proof of age. If it is your first order and proof of age has not been able to be verified, no-one is at the delivery address, or if there is no-one aged 18 or over, an attempted delivery notice will be left at the delivery address and you will need to collect your wine from the location specified in the notice. If your proof of age has been established, and you place a subsequent order, you may provide instructions and authority to leave.


We believe that wine is a beautiful drink that should be enjoyed in moderation, with good food, friends and family.

Refund and returns

Customer satisfaction is important to Fowles Wine.
This is reflected in our Returns Policy and means that you can shop at Fowles Wine with confidence knowing that we can offer you repairs, exchanges and refunds.

With proof of purchase:

If you are able to provide satisfactory proof of purchase, Fowles Wine may offer you a repair, exchange or refund on most goods, provided this is claimed within two months of purchase. Refunds will be given using your original payment method, or such other method as determined by Fowles Wine at its discretion.


If you have simply changed your mind, Fowles Wine may offer you a repair, refund or exchange provided that the product is in as new condition and the refund or exchange is sought within two months of purchase.

Without proof of purchase:

If you are unable to provide satisfactory proof of purchase, Fowles Wine may at its discretion provide you with a repair or exchange to the current value of the goods.


Please have photo identification ready so that we can record your name and verify your signature. Acceptable forms of identification must include your full name and an expiry date; for example, an Australian driver’s licence or passport.

Please note that Fowles Wine has the right to assess the age and condition of returned goods before offering a repair or an exchange.

Delivery charges and information

We use Australia Post Eparcel as our preferred carrier
We offer free delivery Australia-wide on orders of $250 or more.

For orders under this threshold, a flat rate of $20 per case (of twelve bottles or part thereof) applies.

Delivery usually takes between two and ten business days depending on your location.
We offer free freight on wine orders made up of dozen lots to Friends of Fowles Wine Club members anywhere in Australia.
