Fowles Celebrates 2026 Halliday Wine Companion Results
We’re delighted to share that Fowles has once again been recognised as a Five Star Winery in the newly released 2026 Halliday Wine Companion.
Halliday defines a Five Star Winery as:
“Outstanding winery capable of producing wines of very high quality, and did so this year. Also will usually have at least two wines rated at 95 points or above.”
This recognition is a true honour for our team and reflects the passion, dedication, and craft that goes into every bottle of Fowles wine.
This Year’s Top Performers
We’re thrilled to announce some outstanding results in the 2026 Companion, with two wines achieving 95 points:
- Stone Dwellers 2024 Riesling – 95 points
“A grape naturally well suited to the Strathbogie Ranges, this riesling is always worth the wait. Sourced off single block 13.5 on the Upton Run, it brings the freshest scents of lime, grapefruit, lemon in bright floral citrus blossom with just a lick of ginger spice. Dry to taste, packed in citrus flavour and lime pith with a lovely acid tang and flinty notes to close. Plenty to offer now and/or later.”
- Stone Dwellers 2022 Mourvèdre – 95 points
Other Standout Results
- Stone Dwellers 2023 Shiraz – 94 points
- Ladies who Shoot their Lunch 2024 Riesling – 93 points
- The Exception 2018 Shiraz – 93 points
- Ladies who Shoot their Lunch 2023 Wild Ferment Chardonnay – 92 points
- Are you Game? 2021 Shiraz – 90 points
- Stone Dwellers 2023 Sangiovese – 90 points
