Carols by Candlelight Returns to Fowles!
After the wonderful response to our inaugural event last year, we’re delighted to welcome Carols by Candlelight back to Fowles this December.
On Saturday 12 December, our Garden Bar and Lawn will once again come alive with Christmas carols, candlelight and community. After a year unlike any other, coming together to celebrate Christmas will feel especially meaningful.
Gather your family and friends, bring a picnic rug or camping chair, and settle in for a beautiful sunset over the Strathbogie Ranges, followed by an evening of live carols under the stars, delicious food, Fowles wine and plenty of festive cheer.
We’re thrilled to once again welcome some of Australia’s finest stage and opera talent, including performers whose credits span international productions of Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, The Phantom of the Opera, Cinderella and Mary Poppins, bringing to life the Christmas classics we all know and love.
With delicious food, Fowles wine and festive drinks flowing from our Ginger Prince Garden Bar, it’s set to be another special evening under the stars.

General Admission
Relax on the lawn with your own low chairs or picnic rug. Please note, all guests without a Picnic Table booked must bring their own seating.

Our highly sought-after picnic tables offer some of the best seats in the house for Carols by Candlelight, with beautiful views and your own reserved space to settle in for the evening.
Picnic Table Package | $500 per table includes
- Reserved picnic table for up to 8 ticket holders
- Prime viewing position for Carols by Candlelight
- A $200 food and beverage voucher to enjoy throughout the evening

Garden Bar
The Garden Bar and food truck will be serving a selection of Fowles favourites throughout the evening, alongside our range of wines, refreshing drinks and festive treats.
Restaurant Pre-Theatre Dinner
Start your Christmas celebrations with a beautiful three-course dinner at our Restaurant before heading down to Carols by Candlelight.
Settle in overlooking the Strathbogie Ranges and enjoy a delicious seasonal menu, featuring dishes such as lamb croquettes, barramundi and slow-cooked lamb shoulder, finished with something sweet.
A lovely way to gather with family and friends, share a glass of Fowles wine and ease into an evening of Christmas celebrations.

Parking
Complimentary on-site parking will be available, with further arrival information provided to ticket holders closer to the event.
Transport
We’re exploring bus transport options from Shepparton, Nagambie, Euroa, Seymour and Melbourne to make getting to and from Carols by Candlelight a little easier. If you’re interested, please register your details below. Bus services will be subject to sufficient demand, and we’ll be in touch to confirm availability and pricing before bookings open.

Important Event Information
Weather Policy
Carols by Candlelight is an outdoor event and will proceed unless weather conditions are deemed unsafe. The Ginger Prince Garden Bar and Lawn are not undercover, so please dress for the conditions and come prepared with sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, insect repellent and wet-weather gear if needed.
Should weather conditions affect the event, ticket holders will be notified via email.
Ticketing & Refund Policy
All ticket purchases are final. Refunds will not be provided for change of mind, inability to attend or non-attendance.
Should unsafe weather conditions require the event to be cancelled, ticket holders will be notified via email and advised of refund arrangements.
Food & Beverages
No BYO food or beverages are permitted. A range of food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
Pets
For the comfort and safety of all guests, dogs and other pets are not permitted at this event, with the exception of assistance animals.
Accessibility
Accessible parking and bathroom facilities are available on-site. Please note the event is held on a grassed lawn with some uneven surfaces. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact our team ahead of the event so we can assist.
