Winemaking

The grapes were harvested using a selective harvester towards the end of March 2022. This wine was fermented using wild yeast, slightly unpredictable nature, and showing a true reflection of our unique vineyard. Matured for 12 months in older oak using 150-year-old and then blended with selected newer French oak barrels.

Deep dark purple.

Nose

Intense aromas of violet, dark forest berries, Davidson plum with lifted spice, vanilla and black pepper.

Palate

Medium bodied with plush dark berry fruits, Davidson plum, baking spice, and vanilla brining layers of complexity. The velvety tannins lead to a generous and long finish.
