Winemaking

The finest fruit from our Block 13 Sangiovese was carefully selected for this Stone Dwellers wine. After a cold settle overnight, it was gently pumped over during fermentation to extract just the right balance of tannin and color. Once pressed, the wine aged in older oak, undergoing malolactic fermentation to enhance its smoothness.

Colour

Bright ruby red with a darkening core.

Nose

Aromas of dried herbs, red plum, and tart cherries mingle with fresh strawberries, florals and spice.

Palate

Medium-bodied with flavours of strawberries, raspberries, and cherries, balanced by a savouriness on the back palate. Elegant tannins provide a lingering, refined finish.
