Nestled in the picturesque Strathbogie Ranges, just a 90-minute drive from Melbourne, Fowles Wine is seeking a full time dedicated Vineyard Operator to join our team.
Your Role
As a Vineyard Operator, you will carry out essential day-to-day vineyard operations and other tasks as required under the guidance of our Vineyard Manager or Vineyard Supervisor. Your contributions will be crucial in maintaining the excellence and quality of our vineyard.
Key Responsibilities
- Tractor Operations
- Maintenance
- Canopy Management
- Irrigation Operations and Repairs
- Pruning
- Chemical Handling (current AusChem certification required)
- Property Maintenance
Skills and Experience
- Prior vineyard experience is preferred
- Rural Ag/Viticulture studies or equivalent are highly desirable
- Current Driver’s License
- Competency certificates in chainsaw operation, chemical handling, and forklift truck operation are preferred
