2025 Halliday Wine Companion Results

2025 Halliday Wine Companion Results

The results of the 2025 Halliday Wine Companion were released on Wednesday, 7 August 2024, and we’re honoured to have once again been rated as a five-star winery.

Halliday defines a five-star winery as an “Outstanding winery capable of producing wines of very high quality, and did so this year. Also will usually have at least two wines rated at 95 points or above.”

This year marks our strongest showing yet, with an outstanding score of 95 points for our Upton Run 2022 Shiraz (not yet released), Ladies who Shoot their Lunch 2021 Shiraz (not yet released), and Stone Dwellers 2021 Mourvèdre (sold out).

[We are also thrilled to announce that the Ladies who Shoot their Lunch 2021 Shiraz has won Top Gold and Trophy at the International Cool Climate Wine Show.]

Our Stone Dwellers 2023 Riesling was awarded 94 points, while the Stone Dwellers 2021 Shiraz, The Exception 2022 Merlot, and Ladies who Shoot their Lunch 2022 Chardonnay each received 92 points.

And finally, a special mention to the Ginger Prince 2023 Moscato, which was given 90 points by Halliday tasting team member Jeni Port, who had this to say:

“A nicely expressive Moscato that, while sweet, still allows the sunny grapey fruit to shine. Restrained in style, it proves ideal as both an aperitif and a match for foods. Gentle spring florals, citrus, Pink Lady apple, and freshly crushed grapes are bright, crisp, bubbly, and playful – what more could you wish for?”

Needless to say, everyone is delighted with these results, and I want to give a big shout-out to our vineyard and winery teams!
