Winemaking

The fruit for this wine was harvested from Block 13.6 on our Upton Run Vineyard. It was harvested using a selective process harvester in mid-April 2021. The fruit was pressed off immediately, with minimal skin contact to produce a lighter coloured Rosé. The wine was then fermented with yeast selected to promote fresh citrus aromas. The wine was then matured in stainless steel tanks to maintain the vibrant fruity aromas and flavours of the Sangiovese grape.

Nose

Lifted aromas of wild strawberry and fresh red fruits.

Palate

Lightly fruit driven, with a fresh, clean palate and some crisp, quenching citrus on the dry finish.
