Winemaking

The fruit was sourced exclusively from our Upton Run vineyard, specifically Block 15 and 16 and harvested using a selective harvester early March. The grapes were gently crushed to preserve the varietal flavours . The wine were fermented using wild yeast to build further complexity and texture and finished in old French oak barrels for 12 months on lees.

Nose

Robust yet complex notes of stone fruit, lemon, nougat, oak paired with white spice and florals.

Palate

The palate is well balanced with plush stone fruit, subtle minerality, with a rich yet soft buttery weight to the wine. The bright acidity lends to a long finish.
