Winemaking

Harvested from Upton Run Block 13.3 in april, the fruit was gently crushed and spent 14 days on skins, allowing for full flavour extraction. Wild yeast fermentation added depth and complexity, while 14 months in 500L puncheons brought balance and structure. The result is a beautifully concentrated Shiraz with refined tannins and a long, elegant finish.

Colour

Dark ruby with purple hues.

Nose

Bursting with aromatics showing a vibrant blend of black pepper, ripe dark plums, mulberries and hints of subtle spice.

Palate

Concentrated dark red plum and blueberry, beautifully balanced with spice and a textural mid-palate. Supportive oak and a touch of pepper carry through to a fresh, long finish.
