Winemaking

Our Strathbogie Ranges Arneis shone this year. The grapes were crushed quickly after harvest to preserve the delicate fruit flavours. The wine was then fermented in stainless steel using a selected yeast to heighten aroma and contribute citrus flavours, and then kept on lees for 10 months to contribute richer texture and mouthfeel. A dash of Riesling (12.7%) added acidity, structure and clean, crisp citrus notes.

Colour

Pale straw.

Nose

Delicate and clean citrus blossom, green apple and brioche.

Palate

Light and fresh with a burst of citrus and lemon pith meld with subtle pear and apple. Refreshingly crisp and dry with layers of fine and lively bubbles.
